Polyguard — "Lock-Tight Seal" Logo Sting
v3 · 3.7s · 60fps + motion blur · built from the real brand SVG (vector-exact paths & colors)
The concept
The Polyguard emblem is already built from beveled facets forming a faceted octagonal ring — it reads like a sealing ring / bolt-head. So the sting literally assembles the seal:
- Segments wind in — the four facets fly in while the whole hex ring rotates and decelerates, locking exactly as the last segment seats.
- Lock snap — a quick settle + "click" pulse: the lock-tight moment.
- White seal-face appears last — only once the ring is locked does the disc fade in, then pg resolves on top.
- "polyguard" fades in glyph-by-glyph (CodePen flow) as the emblem slides to its lockup.
- Shine rakes across the mark — masked to the logo, so it's a highlight on the artwork, not a streak in the void.
Why vector, not 3D: rendered straight from the brand SVG paths, so colors and geometry are pixel-exact to the identity — and it stays crisp at any size. We can escalate to a 3D metal-seal version later if you want more depth.
Next, on your nod
- Tune timing / size / facet feel to taste.
- Build the matching outro (logo + POLYGUARD.COM CTA, holds & fades).
- Music + a "lock" SFX on the tighten beat (Carrie's note: music that fades to background).
- Bookend the Insulrap cuts (and it becomes the reusable brand sting for the whole library).
